The Bay Area Air Quality Management District is holding a public workshop this Thursday, April 16 from 6 to 8 pm in the Santa Rosa City Council chambers to discuss the tightening of wood burning restrictions. Whatever you’re views, this is your chance to make them known.  You can review the proposed changes here.

The BAAQMD will continue to accept public comment until the close of business Friday, May 8, 2015.  However, April 16 is the only scheduled workshop to be held in Sonoma County.  Public comment can be submitted by email addressed to the Public Information box at [email protected] or via phone by calling the Air District’s Wood Smoke Hotline at 415-749-4989.  Shirlee Zane is our representative for Sonoma County.  She can be reached here.
